George Henry Wilson

George was born in StaffordEngland on December 23^rd 1871. He was a “fruit grower’ in PrairieValley. He had previous military experience with the102nd Battalion. He enlisted at the age of 40 on March 3^rd 1915. His death was announced in the Summerland Review on March 10^th 1916. sergeant George Henry Wilson died while serving with the 31st Battalion. While in England he contacted a cold which progressed to a more serious lung infection and subsequently died from this infection.
